Treatment based on diagnosis
Orthodontic treatment should be planned from a diagnosis, not from appliance preference.
I mainly use fixed appliances, such as metal, champagne-coloured or ceramic brackets, because they give good control over tooth movement, bite correction and final stability. Aligners may be possible in selected simple cases, but they are not suitable for all orthodontic problems.
The goal is not only straight teeth, but a stable bite, good function and a result that fits your individual situation.
Fees
Consultation: 490 NOK
Initial assessment of tooth position, bite and possible need for treatment.
Treatment planning: 4,265 NOK
Extended diagnostics and individual treatment plan when needed.
Orthodontic treatment: usually around 50,000 NOK
Final cost depends on complexity, treatment time and appliances needed.
Fixed retainer: 2,750 NOK per arch
Removable retainer: 1,750 NOK per arch
Night guard: from 3,000 NOK
Total cost depends on necessary follow-up and controls.
For other fees, we mainly follow the current annual fee list from TkVestland.
Final cost estimate is given after clinical examination and individual assessment.

First assessment
The first assessment is a low-threshold consultation for adults who want to know whether orthodontic treatment may be relevant.
You will receive an initial explanation of possible treatment options, expected complexity and whether full diagnostic records are needed before a treatment plan can be made.
